The Dyna-Glo Professional 240V 5000W Garage Heater is the ideal heating solution for your garage, warehouse, or workshop with its 3 heat settings, convenient space-saving ceiling-mount, and adjustable thermostat. This professional unit comes fully equipped with an upgraded commercial grade heating element and premium enclosed motor to extend the overall performance and life of your heater, as well as connections for use with an external thermostat. Lightweight and easy to carry, the EG5000DGP provides 17,065 BTUs while efficiently heating areas up 500 sq. ft. To ensure safety this heater was designed with overheat protection and a caution indicator light. No assembly required.

Functions as advertised

The heater is as advertised. The only issue I experienced was no cord was attached/inclosed. Had to hire an electrician to resolve.

Just installed this thing in my insulated 450 sf garage. It seems to be running ok and has no problem heating it to a comfortable temp. The manual does not tell you what wire size or breaker size to use, just tells you to consult an electrician. The 5000w setting draws roughly 21A. I used a two pole 30a breaker with 10/2 copper wire. There is no terminal for a grounded conductor (neutral) in the heater, so you just have the 2 power wires and 1 ground.
