Our 16000 handles every bit of our 28' Concession Trailer. We also use it to power our emergency panel at our brick and mortar.

We bought this generator about 1 yr ago and it has been so useful when needed and its definetly worth it living in Florida! Very powerful but wish it was a little quieter!

Has been a great generator. I have not had to use it yet during a power outage, but when I do the monthly run under power, it has no problem powering the entire house: Variable-speed AC system, variable-speed pool pump, every outlet in the house, including the refrigerator

I bought the 1600 duel fuel generator an I did a test run and it ran my entire house, I live in the country and I have a water well and septic system also.

I bought this generator about a month and a half ago, and we lost power due to a storm and thankfully we had this power house. We were without power for around 18 hours and we were able to run everything necessary in our home and didn’t even use half of the power this beast has to offer. Great generator and very thankful we had it.

I’ve gotten this a few months ago to protect my family from back outs due to storms. Hurricane Helene really humbled me an I promised my family, I will not be caught with my pants around my ankles again. We never thought it would happen to us in western North Carolina. This XP16000iH runs everything I throw at it. I have electric heating, cooking and of course refrigeration. Which that last one is important. I have medicine that keeps me alive that needs to keep cold. So, having this machine not only keeps my family fed, my medication cold, it gives me peace of mind. It’s easy to setup, I just roll it out of the shed, plug in the interlock. Lock out my main breaker. Start the generator, flip on the 50amp generator breaker in my panel and we are back online as if we didn’t just have a tree rip down power transmission lines. I absolutely enjoy having this unit, I absolutely recommend it.

This inverter/generator is a beast of a machine. With not one but two 50 amp outlets it can truly power my entire house. Note that it takes some extra wiring and a custom setup to get the full output to a single house, but once that was setup I can run my 3 ton and my 5 ton ac along with all other load (like refrigerator, septic pump, microwave, etc.) Just make sure you have plenty of fuel. Using gasoline it runs through about a gallon an hour. I also have some 40lb propane tanks, and it runs fine with them, but haven't done a consumption test for propane.

I went through two hurricanes a few years ago here in the Southeast with no power backup. One was a week long and the second was ten days long without power. Lost thousands in multiple deep freezer food losses and we were miserable. I priced a home generator installation and crunched the numbers. I determined DuroMax was the way to go. A close friend bought a DuroMax 15K dual fuel Genset a few years ago and he loves it. I purchased this 16K DuroMax Dual Fuel Inverter Genset and installed it myself with just a little bit of effort. I got the inverter model because of all my sensitive electronics and appliances that have digital printed circuit boards. I have mine on the LP Gas option. We fire this baby up once every month or so as suggested to keep it at ready for any loss of power. Now I don't think twice or worry about any type of power outages. I built a nice permanent shelter on a concrete pad just outside of the home near my LP gas tank. Installed two 50amp inputs for complete whole house balanced power. This generator is a beast. The engine runs flawlessly and seems to be very good quality. All outputs were tested and spot on. My neighbors are very impressed with the quality of and price point of the DuroMax generators.

I live in an area where the power goes out all the time. My electrician advised me to purchase the most powerful generator I could afford. I decided to go with the 16000 watt dual fuel inverter. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. This generator is well built, very sturdy, and easy to maintain. Changing the oil is very easy making it worry free to keep my generator ready for action. This generator is heavy, so it would be best to put it in a large generator shed and use a 50 amp plug to connect to your home during an outage. Running this generator is very straight forward and it's fairly quiet. I love the remote start, but it'd be great to have an onboard light above the control panel to make it easy to operate this unit when it's dark outside. I added a rechargeable strip light above the control panel for this purpose. We had a power outage recently where we had to use this unit. It started right up and easily connected to house through the 50 amp port. We could run everything in our house including the central AC (on a soft start) with NO problems. I love this unit. Well worth the price.

What a machine, can’t say enough good things about this beast!!!

I have owned multiple generators rated at up to 9000W. This 160000W is just silly powerful, when I plug in a tesla portable charger you can barely hear the RPM come up. The display is high quality compared to my past units from other brands and it doesnt rattle in the slightest. My last unit from Firman was so loud. This quiet (and expensive) model is actually worth it. You can talk while standing next to it under load. Impressed.

This thing is a Beast. Powers my whole house without any hesitation

I bought this beast a couple of years ago because I live in hurricane prone Florida. Came quickly on a LTL freight carrier, no problems. I fortunately haven't had to use it for extended power outages, but all the features seem to work - this thing should power the whole house via a transfer switch, including the whole house air conditioner. It's big and heavy, but the quality handles and wheels make it manageable. Hopefully, the true test will never come, when it does, I'll post another review.

The generator came in excellent condition. It came with a step-by-step instruction manual that was easy to follow, including a reminder to register the generator with the company. It included two remote controls to turn on the generator, which comes in handy for both safety purposes and peace of mind.

Ive been using this as a drone charger for two years now and have about 300 hours on the genny. It works phenomenal for running my 10000w charger for the t50s as well as still being able to run pumps. Way more quiet than the non inverted. No headaches at the end of the day. Ive had 0 issues with it running basically full load all day in 90+ degree heat too

Purchased this generator because of outages in my area lasting multiple days. Has worked great. Straightforward, no issues. Noticed a few months later the the tri-fuel option was released. If I could go back, I'd get the tri-fuel without a doubt.

I purchased this generator to run my entire home, shop and farm outbuildings. It has DUAL 50amp outputs, runs on gasoline or LP gas. I have mine hooked up to LP gas. My friend has had a 15K Duromax for years and he has been through two hurricanes and several outages and he loves it. I built a concrete pad with a shelter to keep it at the ready outside. It’s easily transported on the wheels if one wishes to store it elsewhere. Overall this has been a solid investment for home backup power with low THD that won’t compromise sensitive electronic equipment and appliances.

Bought the 16000 to power the house in case of another hurricane taking our power out, after the electrician installed the necessary electrical to plug to the house, ran the house without any problems

This is my second Duromax generator and replaced the raw power XP13000EH that overperformed during its lifetime. I needed a whole of home generator that is kind to all my electronics in my home yet powerful enough to power the HVAC and hot water systems without disturbing the neighbors 3 blocks away. The XP16000iH Iwas the perfect choice, both on paper and in reality. It overperforms in so many ways and I have not once felt I could have purchased anything better out there. Even Ai agreed with my analysis and comparisons of choices before I purchased this machine..It rated the Duromax XP16000iH iops in performance, quality, power, and durability and mobility. Very happy with my purchase!

Bought this beast right on time before hurricane Beryl. I lost power for a week and this generator kept with the ENTIRE house with a 4 ton a/c. On top of that I shared an extension cord to my neighbor to run their essentials. I also do a lot of dry camp with my RV and all this beast asks for is fuel and maintenance.

I bought this generator to replace a generact it weighs a lot and I'm not sure who they think is going to be able to push this heavy generator anywhere and why they didn't include lifting eye hooks is an engineering design flaw. How about a place to put your onboard tools and a waterproof place for your instruction manual that would be helpful.

Bought for the invertor and high output, thought I would get a few things to run which would be good. Used electrician to put in 50 amp plug and the lock out plate with breaker. Started up nice and quiet and smooth started turning on breakers and appliance using 8 kw with EVERYTHING turned on. 3 ton A/C central ai,r 2 ton package unit, well pump, 50 gallon hot water heater, televisions, lights, fridge/freezer, washer dryer, sump pump the whole house and it runs on low idle with few surges for the hot water heater. Best thing I bought since I paced my crush and run driveway. The unit is packaged well, great directions, quality built. Only thing I would ask a switch for disconnecting the neutral bond, had to do the video but got it worked out with little problem.

Very pleased with quality and features. Only negative was the oil fill funnel promised was not present.
