Q: I’m a bit confused about the propane psi requirement for my xp15000hxt. Does the actual generator need to see 3psi or does the tank supplying the regulator need to be a minimum of 3psi supply before it hits the regulator which will further lower the psi?

  • A: I have this generator and it’s not a problem. Simply hook it up to any propane tank and it will run just fine. See most propane tanks are filled under pressure.  So no the generator doesn’t have to see 3psi. Just connect a fresh tank.

Fires up every time

I’ve been blessed to not have to use it for extended periods of time yet, but every time I fire it up and service it it cranks every time and powers all of my essential power needs in the house. I’m running on natural gas.

Yes, I recommend this product.

A very HEAVY duty generator

Instructions for assembly are inaccurate. They tell you to install the wheels with the generator in place on the pallet, but the pallet is too wide to install both wheels before removing the generator. At over 400 lbs., it is a serious problem for a new owner and should be corrected. Fuel gauge doesn’t work. Starts right up and runs… loud!
