Q: Does this food have rosemary in it? I have used for years without issue and have never seen “natural flavors” as an ingredient. I just bought a new bag— my dog that is allergic to rosemary had a seizure, and that is the only new thing I’m aware of.

Our handicap Australia Shepherd is unable to exercise other dog.On a visit to the Veterinarian a urine sample stowed excessive amount of protein in his (Scout’s) urine, so our Vet wanted us to start Scout on a lower protein Lite dog food and Diamond dog food we could find and my dog Scout loves it’s. A big shout out to Debbie Watson Miller Beck for introducing me to this wonderful Dog Food.

This is the lowest fat dog food I can find that helps my Cavalier with her pancreatitis. However… she is 16 pounds and I can o it get a 40 pound bag at all of the stores around here. Why do you not carry the smaller bags??? I would rather purchase the dog food at a local store than have to order it and have it shipped. Otherwise my experience was great!!!

My little corgi mix is looking a lot less fat on this dog food! On the other dog food, I could feed him a 1/2 cup a day and he was super fat. Switched to this and now he is happy getting more kibble but not getting more fat! Highly recommend!

A year ago, I was having a hard time finding dog food that was both affordable and good for my dogs. We were using a fancy brand, but the vet wasn't seeing the results they promised. Plus we couldn't keep up with the rising cost. Then we found Diamonds. The ingredients were way better, and we didn't have to spend a fortune. Our dogs love it, and they are healthier. I have a rescue German Shepherd that was a result of a backyard breeder. She unfortunately was diagnosed with hip and elbow dysplasia at the young age of 2. We have had to be very aware of her weight as to not exacerbate her condition. We found Diamond Naturals Light lamb and rice formula last year and she loves it! We are so pleased that she still gets a yummy meal while I'm still able to keep her at a healthy weight.

Good for pancreatitis

My Pomeranian had pancreatitis and needed a low fat food. I switched him to Diamond light and he never had another bout. I have suggested to a few friends that have little dogs that have suffered from pancreatitis also and they have switched to Diamond Light also with no further issues as of now. Thank you for making a food that dogs like and that keeps them healthy and happy

My rescue Yellow lab can only tolerate lowest fat dog food.

I'm giving this a two-star review because I do like the Skin & Coat formula.
Since my dogs are all seniors now I wanted transition them into senior dog food.
They were transitioned from one formula to the other correctly.
This formula has caused severe vomiting, diarrhea, and vet bills for 3 dogs all different breeds.
Mastiff, Bull Terrier, American Bull Dog mix.
For some people this might work very well. It did not work for my dogs.
