awesome corn and wheat free food!

Having english bulldogs, it can be difficult to find a nutritious, corn and wheat free food.They are subject to many skin issues and corn is one major contributor! There are many uber expensive foods on the market and I have found out by doing the research that Diamond stacks up as well as most of them.I can afford to feed them a quality food without breaking the bank! The new Beef flavor is their favorite and I have one very picky eater!

I switched to Diamond Natural 2 years ago when I got my rescue GSD and she had a sensitive stomach. I was happy with it until a few weeks ago when I went to TS and saw DN had raised their prices. The prices had not changed in 2 years until COVID-19. Families are losing thier jobs, they are dumping their pets, they can not feed their children and I was very disappointed that the price of all DN dog food went up at the same time COVID-19 happened. Please lower your prices back so people do not have to choose between feeding their pet over their family. Thank you

I buy this for our 80 pound Pit Bull. He eats only this food and the nutrients he receives satisfies him. The high protein level and lack of fillers eliminates the stool factors which are caused by cheap foods. Easier cleanup in the backyard is a consideration!!!

Great food that is potato, pea and lentil free!
Supposedly those ingredients were or are causing DCM-heart problems
in some dogs. We are not taking the chance with our Labs.
Note: That even though this is beef formula, there is chicken fat
in the ingredients so if your dog has chicken allergies, this may not
work for them.
Overall, we are very happy with Diamond Naturals and tried most of
the formulas, Chicken, Beef, Lamb and Salmon (the Salmon is the only one that has peas, lentils and potatos in it-we discontinued use after 1 bag)

My dog is picky but he seems to like it

Wanted to try something different because my dog has been having skin issues. Have used diamond in the past for my former dog that had skin allergies and liked it. My current dog is kind of picky so was worried he wouldn't like it but about a third of the way through the bag and he is still eating it. Hasn't really helped with the itching so it is probably not an allergy problem but a parasite problem.

Mixed Reactions From My Dogs

While my 1 year old Lab pup seemed to love it, this particular flavor food caused my 7-year-old Lab to get a case of the itches really bad, so clearly soemthing in this particular formula did not agree with her. She has been having reactions to various foods like this as she ages for some reason, but did well with the Diamond Naturals Sensitve Skin flavor (Salmon & Sweet Potato) so I'll be trying something along those lines again the next time.

I have 2 large dogs that both enjoy this food. The eat it even if I don't add any else to it. They are thriving on this food with no problems. I looked at the Diamond brand after reading some reviews about the poor quality of more popular brands. I discovered that Diamond was more highly regarded and considered to be better quality than almost all well know major brands. It is also a good value. i recommend Diamond brand dog food to my friends with dogs.

I've been Diamond Naturals for at least 8 years now. All my active and working Australian Shepherds do really well on this food. It has a consistent formula which does not change from bag to bag, unlike some other brands. It does not cost much more and can be easily found in most stores around me.
