The DEWALT 3 in. cordless cut-off tool is powered by a brushless motor that delivers a no load speed of 20,000 RPM. It is specially designed to cut metal, tile, stone, plastic and drywall/fiber cement. The bright LED allows to work with ease in low light conditions. Dust shroud features tool-free depth adjustment with mm and inch markings. Chip pocket accepts TOOL CONNECT chip and connects with Site Manager app for easy asset management on the jobsite. Tool-free adjustable guard allows to quickly adjust spark direction while cutting metal. It includes removable dust shroud with adjustable shoe and AirLock connection, bonded abrasive wheel, diamond multi-material wheel, diamond tie wheel, 7/16 in. arbor adapter ring and hex wrench.

A cut off tool can only be used for cutting, whereas an angle grinder provides you with cutting, shaping, sharpening, grinding, and other functions. A five star tool !

This is a life saver and a game changer tool. Where I used to carry an angle grinder to cut through padlocks and bolts and chains this is now making the job ten times faster and safer . Also cutting off nails in old wood is so much quicker . I work in my local council and often have to get into old park sites and fencing in emergencies and this tool does it all and leave up one hand to hold stuff safely .

I bought the tool a month ago and love it! It is versatile in so many ways. I have used it to cut out sink holes because of the blade being so close to the edge. I have cut aluminum rebuilding my boat. Great tool.

Great Compact Cut-Off Tool

This is a great little cut-off tool. It's lightweight, powerful, and perfect for quick cuts in metal, PVC, and tile. This has plenty of power for it's size, and the compact size makes it easy to use in tight spaces. The only downside is the small 3-inch wheel, but for most everyday jobs it works great. I'd definitely recommend it.
