poor quality

i do not recommend buying anything with a kohler engine. my 26 hp kohler engine blew up at 240 hours totally seizedup. I had a 8hp kohler engine on a tiller to blow up way too soon as well.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Honeymoon is Over, But Still in Love

I've had my mower for over a year now and continue to be very happy with it. I had a few experiences with the mower leaving a band of uncut grass in the middle of a run. Turned out to be an issue with the center blade being unexpectedly dull. The other two blades were fine so I can only think this was an operator thing and not a quality thing. The only complaint- more like a whine- I have is the oil system. I appreciate the ease of the hose to empty it, but would appreciate a side window where I could visually see as I add the oil instead of waiting for it to settle and using the dip stick. Unlike a car, I've had relatively inconsistent oil amounts that require constant checking to avoid overfilling. Like I said, it's a "whine", but it's the only complaint I can think of. The Kawasaki motor is an incredible piece of machinery too.

Didn't even get a chance to buy it... Twice

Showed up to the store and was in the middle of purchasing it when the salesperson told me the deck was locked up for some reason. He said they didn't have another of that model and told me that another store had it in stock. Drove another 45 minutes to pick it up and it had the same issue. As soon as you engaged the PTO the blades would lock up and the belt would start to burn. They said is was likely from sitting out all winter. But my only thought is that every spring when I go to make the first cut, the spindles are going to be frozen. This is clearly an engineering design error. The only reason I give it two stars is because the rest of the machine seemed solid, just not the most critical component.
No, I do not recommend this product.
