Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Having starting issues. They will not cover under the manufacturer warranty. They say I should have spent hundreds of dollars on the extended warranty. They outsource the customer service to Africa. Couldn’t understand the person, loud noises in the background (sounded like they were fighting/ arguing.) I’m a 70 year old disabled veteran. Had to have someone pick up my cub cadet lawnmower and take it to river valley tractor for repairs and now I’ve got to have someone pick it up because they couldn’t get authorization to work on it even that’s where they told me to take it. Tractor supply couldn’t / wouldn’t help me either. Said I should have bought the warranty. So plan on adding $500 to the final amount of the item.

I owned a 2006 Cub Cadet zero turn out over 1000 hours on it. Just a few problems throughout the years . That’s why I bought a 2024 Cub Cadet Ultimate ZT1. The problem is the mower is made cheaper. To start with the blades last 50 hours then they crack. The blades are made of pressed metal. I went to a company called 8ten to get a better quality blade. The deck spring broke at 75 hours had to replace. Then the drive belt spring came off when I was driving across the yard. That was fun trying to put the belt back on. The latest is at 200 hours my solenoid is going bad trouble starting. I’m replacing it it now before it causes the wiring harness to burn up like it did on the first mower I owned.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Beware of Bad quality ZT mowers from Cub Cadet

Purchased 4/1/26 a ZT1 54" mower and 5hrs in, it lost the drive belt spring, replaced spring and now at 12 hrs it did it again, call CC customer service (if you can call it that) waste of time. Told me my only option was to find a trailer and take it to get repaired under warranty at a authorized service center 50 miles from my location (on my dime). Called my TSC and they said the same, couldn't help me because I didn't Purchased the $400.00 extended warranty. So I truly recommend you don't Purchased any CC ZT mower, just Google
Cub Cadet ZT mowers drive belt issues. Hundreds of complaints online. I only wished I checked it out on the web before I purchased. You pay $4000.00 for a mower you would think you'd get better quality than what Cub Cadet is selling.
No, I do not recommend this product.
