- A: The spindles turn the blades and have a metal housing over them. There is a grease zerk at the top of each deck spindle visible through the metal housing. Attach the grease gun to one of the zerks and pump two portions of grease into it. Repeat for the other grease zerk.4 years agoHelpful?

Spindle for ride on mower

Part came in a timely manner.Installation was easy.
My only gripe would be that there were no installation instructions and it took me a while to figure out why there were no threads in the spindle mount holes.It comes with self tapping screws so problem solved.
Yes, I recommend this product.
