Q: I have a JD 3032E with a cat 1 3 point setup and the pins on this boom pole are a bit too big to fit into my 3 point. The pins are painted, would that be the difference? If so, do you think I just grind the paint off?

Actually only rated for 500 lbs.

It is not rated for 1000 lbs as advertised. It only has a loop at the end, which is 500 lbs. The one that can do 1000 lbs either has a loop half way down the shaft or it is the square tube one. The manager called to make sure and gladly took it back.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great boom on the back of my 1023E

Was rusty and had a wasp nest in it, the welds are pretty bad and the paint is not great, but overall, this is a good piece of equipment for the price, to grab stuff that doesn't have a 3-point on it, and run it around the yard/farm/whatever. I will probably strip it and repaint it so it doesn't rust out as fast.
