Made of heavy duty steel and featuring a proven floating stack impeller design, this sand resistance pump is built for high performance. The pump is rated for 230V and is backed by a 3 year limited warranty.

Q: I plan on using thisin a 36in dia. Well thats 45 ft deep. Its @30 ft to the surface of the water. My question is what kind of torque aresster do i use? And is schedule 40 pvc pipe ok? If it is can i use glued on fitting or the metal threaded connector

- A: For a 36-inch diameter well that is 45 feet deep using a CountyLine 3/4 HP Submersible Pump, you must use a standard 4-inch to 6-inch rubber torque arrestor expanded to its maximum setting, Schedule 80 PVC (not Schedule 40), and threaded connections (never glued fittings).Because your well casing is exceptionally wide (36 inches) compared to a standard 4-to-6-inch well casing, a torque arrestor will not actually reach the well walls to stabilize the pump. However, you must still guide and protect your equipment properly under these specific conditions. Two week failure.

First unit failed after two weeks. It worked good on the beginning but the second week we noticed an unexpected drop on water flow and then the dreaded call to the plumber for another call back because by the end of second week it just quit pumping water. Unfortunately for me I had purchased the unit myself and hired the plumber to install it, so I paid twice to have pumps installed. Had I just paid the extra $250 for the pump the installer prefered to use and had available, I would be $1500 wealthier

So your well pump craps out on a holiday weekend and no supply houses are open until Tuesday and you want to get it rep[laced. So you check all the box stores to see who has the least bad reviews. Well this one seemed to best of the options, mostly positive, although many reviews mentioned it failed early. Three year warranty, so you roll the dice thinking you will at least get that out of it. Not so! This little gem lasted all of about 5 minuets and then failed, literally separating in two. At least it was returned without hassle. Next time wait until Tuesday.

Dupont works really really well and when I put it in it started pumping instantly and I'm getting well over 10 gallons per minute at least it sure appears to be very impressed with it very impressed got good water pressure and all with it had a 152 ft
