Coolaroo Coolhaven Shade Sail, 95% UV Block Shade and Sun Shield, 12 ft. Triangle, Heritage Green

We spend a lot of time in our backyard, whether we are entertaining or just our daily tasks of gardening, enjoying our koi pond, relaxing in our hot tub or reading. Whatever we are doing our backyard is our sanctuary year round but the weather especially the hot sun does chase us back inside and this is where the Coolaroo Coolhaven Shade sail has come in handy. This shade-sail keeps the heat and uv rays to a minimum and helps us stay outside longer enjoying our backyard activities. The shade -sail took the 2 of us to set up, we did need to attach the pad eyes to 4 stable corners. We used all of the hardware that came inside the box but did need to purchase some cord to extend the shade-sail to reach the desired area. I like that this really does provide adequate protection from the sun and that this shade-sail is very sturdy as well as, breathable, toxin-free and mild and mildew resistant. This is perfect for our needs and we are considering purchasing a much larger one of these co cover more area for our needs. This has far exceeded our expectations.

I absolutely love the color of this shade and was super excited to install it. Needless to say, we were unable to due to not having the proper screws and that our deck is much bigger and we weren’t able to anchor it properly.

The Coolaroo Coolhaven Shade Sail Kit is a great product! It comes with the sail and all the hardware to hang it up. I had a different shade sail in the same place that had worn out so I replaced it with the Coolaroo. Set up was extremely easy. I attached it to my roof with the hardware and used my previously installed anchors. It is a very study material. My only concern is how plasticy the material felt. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing for the long term durability of the sail. Sometimes plastic can start to disintegrate faster under harsh weather conditions, but sometimes it means it withstands conditions easier. Guess time will tell on the long-term durability. The sail instantly provided shade and dropped the temperature over my outdoor patio. Loving it so far!

I got it in Sahara color which is natural beige tan. In the sun, it protects most of the sun which is nice and help lower the heat by 70% of how it was before setting up the shade. It do take time to set up the hooks to the wall. Overall it looks nice and block out sunlight.
