Chevron Delo 400 SDE SAE 15W-40 Engine Oil with Isosyn advanced technology is a mixed fleet 4-stroke engine oil engineered for better oxidation, wear protection and piston deposit control. This 4-cycle engine oil is recommended for naturally aspirated and turbocharged 4-stroke diesel engines and 4-stroke gasoline engines in which the Api Ck-4 or Sn service category and SAE 15W-40 viscosity grade are recommended. 15W-40 engine oil is also backwards compatible with diesel engines in which the Api Cj-4, Ci-4, Ci-4 Plus and Ch-4 service categories are recommended.

Also old ih 354 calls for 30wt. In which I use to get Delo 100 , but it's near impossible now to get in an reason around here I find this to work just as good...... Well well better. Easy to find cost less and runs a long time without needing to add a qt... So no issues with multi vis oil over the single in the delo brand

By far the best oil for a Diesel engine.

This is the best oil on the market for a Diesel engine and it is not made from recycled oil as stated in a previous review. We run this oil in our logging equipment and it takes the abuse everyday. The temperature here in Georgia is averaging 96 degrees. We have never had an engine failure due to an oil problem. The only time we have add oil is if we have a leak! The bulk of our equipment runs with the engine wide open 11 hours a day we have never had a viscosity issues either the reason I know is we do oil testing every oil change.

Great product and easy to use in 1 gallon jug. We never spill any of it when pouring into truck or tractor.

Oil turned to water in my Chevy Diesel Pick-Up

I tried this oil because it was on discount on says it meets all the required specs. However, had to add a quart ever 1000 miles twice so I had my mechanic change it back to Delvac. He said the oil came out very thin and thinks it’s because Chevron uses recycled oil. If that’s true then we should be warned cause that can ruin an engine
