Round and yellow, the tennis ball-sized heirloom is a perfect serving for 1 or 2 people. Lemon cucumber does not have a lemon taste, just pretty yellow color. Thin, tender skin and flesh is slightly milder than regular cucumbers. Prolific plants are easy to grow. Grow vigorous plants on a trellis. Maturity: 65-days after planting.

Tender and sweet

Bought these at Home Depot. Loved all the reviews. I forgot I planted these till I saw the yellow fruit. It had gotten to large and hard. But that just means seeds for next year. Taste so much milder than regular cucumbers. Hope it keeps producing into the Fall. Will plant next season too.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Are they supposed to be prickly on the outside? Anyone else? Are they supposed to be?

Excellent cucumber!

If you wait til they are yellow, they get tough and seedy. As other reviewers have written, I feel they are best when they are green and just turning to a yellow tint. Very sweet with only an occasionally bitter skin. I have found that the more I pick, the more I get. I have two plants on a trellis and I am picking 15-20 cukes every day or two. They pickle very well when tiny, too :) Enjoy!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good Eating!

I have grown these for 3 years now and we have had bumper harvests. One year they weighed in at 70 pounds for the season. We don't wait until they get yellow the way you picture them. We pick them green and the size of ping-pong balls. One can eat the whole cuke without peeling. Just put on a little salt or Greek seasoning. Great in salads too. I'm looking for more ways to use them. They are milder than regular cucumbers.

Yes, I recommend this product.
