Heavy yields of firm, red, meaty, low-acid fruit on disease-resistant plants make this a popular choice for gardens throughout the U.S., especially in northern zones. Jet Star resists verticillium wilt (V) and fusarium wilt (F). The indeterminate vines stay fairly compact but benefit from strong stakes to support the heavy fruit. Plant in full sun after last spring frost, 36 inches apart. Plant reaches 4 to 5 feet tall and matures in 72 days. Be sure to water your plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, and feed it regularly with Miracle-Gro Plant Food. First good tomato I’ve grown in KY

Wow! Planted this plant in May and three delicious huge tomatoes before the end of June. I will def get more next year. It could be the weather or could be this tomato type but tomatoes here are usually mushy and tasteless or just give up and get rotten before they’re ripe. These taste like they were dry farmed in CA. Meaning lots of flavor not mushy and great on a sandwich. Fingers crossed that they remain a winner here. Yum!

Definitely yields!

Bought 2 single plants and planted next to each other in a ground garden. Kept indoors in March (zone 5), planted outdoors last week in April, stared to yield last week of July. Today’s yield is pic attached. Some that don’t look quite ripe we chose to pick because they do crack, although the description says they are resistant. Maybe growers error though. Delicious and hearty! They also surpassed expectations in the time they last inside and outside the fridge.

My DIL has preferred this tomato for several years while I have been leaning toward heirlooms and beefsteaks with poor results. These are great! I may be overwatering as I'm seeing yellow leaves so will cut back. We are very hot and humid here in OK. They are late to set fruit this year due to cool days in late May, but they are doing so even in our temps in the 90's. They MUST be resistent to those devils--the spider mites because I haven't had ANY and by July I am usually fighting them vigorously. I am thrilled that this fruit does not crack and therefore at least look infected around the cap. Note: Even with 4-1/2 inches 2 weeks ago, the yields are still beautifully shaped.
