Q: In the description it says that it's 8 and 1/4 oz a cotton twill sounds pretty heavy is it though I want them heavy duty for crawling under homes I don't want them to get holes right away that's what happened to my last ones and they were really heavy

- A: Hi, These are pretty durable but our most durable option is the 10 oz cotton Fisher Stripe Coverall (C120FS). For reference, a heavyweight denim pair of jeans is 12.75 oz. so coveralls are not quite as tough for tears and abrasions.3 years agoHelpful?

Fit was good. Never seen a lighter duty set that had zippers on the leg bottoms before. If they were like other Berne products I'll be exceptionally happy.

The fitting chart was accurate, for myself. The reason I purchased these was because they have leg zippers. I like to wear them over other clothes so I can change easily, without removing my shoes.

We ordered these through the website. When we received these: the legs were 4-6 inches too long. We returned this pair of coveralls. We were able to find some coveralls that were the right length for my husband at a different store. These were supposedly regular length, but evidently my husband would have had to be 6 feet or taller to use these coveralls.

I used the recommended size from the fit size chart and I even received a recommendation from Berne Customer Service on which size to purchase. I would not recommend these coveralls to anyone. I need assistance getting into these as they fit tight in the torso and I only wore them once. The front unzips if you have to pee, but I cannot get out of these by myself if I have to poop. So, what good are they?
