The wire is fine. The reel it comes on isn't as convenient as advertised. The wire just comes off in a rats nest once opened. Some of my wire is kinked after install from the struggle of untangling the wire.

Doing what it's supposed to for what I bought it for (tensioning H-brases). Liked the smaller reel for that reason.

Bought this to tie all the h-braces together. This wire works good since it’s not too thick to twist yet strong enough to hold everything tight.

We bought this wire to create a trellis for berries as the previous, thing gauge wire had rusted and disintegrated. This wire is very heavy duty (almost too heavy) and seems like it should last a long time. We had difficulty twisting it at the support stakes, and cutting it due to the heavy gauge. Time will tell if it holds up to the elements and the salt air along the coast. The spool, which weighs almost 40 pounds when full, made installation easier.

TSC get your shippers to get a handle on it. This wire came with a broken spindle and a complete mess in the box.

the wire itself is excellent. i used this to wrap around wood H braces for barb wire fence. the wire only snapped once from being twisted to tighten the fence, and that was my fault. the pressboard roll is good as long as it doesn't get wet. once it gets wet (like being set on the ground) it starts to fall appart. if they switched to plastic, or sprayed the pressboard with glue, it would make the product last a lot longer.

This is nice wire but the spool it comes on is lacking. I had to order this online and the cardboard spool edges break off when being shipped to store. This prevents you from unspooling with tension on it to keep it tight on spool. I made it work but had to get inventive. It's high tensile and if you happen to let it unravel on spool you will have a mess. I used crimping ferrules on the ends to secure to post. High tensile wire just does not twist together well.

If you’re used to regular, light gauge electric fence wire you’ll probably hate this stuff. It’s awful to work with. We ended up taking it all back down and using the light gauge wire instead.

medium weight wire for high-tensile strength. Seems strong enough without being crazy. would buy again.

I am pretty much over TSC fencing products. I bought solar electric panels in the two biggest sizes. Neither ever worked consistently or well enough to use in an open filed of direct sunlight. This wire and the pieces used to attach it aren't worth anything. My horse ran right through it and probably got completely tangled and hurt himself ruining the wire.

Worked as anticipated

I am going to give this 5 stars because it’s pretty much what I expected. The spool is very low quality. It’s basically compressed cardboard and mine came beat up but it still worked as needed. The wire is quite stiff and very difficult to twist and used for fencing but you can manage. Because it is stiff and wound tight you definitely need to have it on a device to help you unspool it and it needs to be done in a controlled fashion or it can bird nest on you. Otherwise, I used Gripple GP Medium on it and it tightens up as designed.

Just like most people have stated, the spool came broken. It's just a very thick/dense cardboard like material. Either way, the wire worked as I needed it to.

Exactly the product I needed to finish my fencing project. Spool containing the wire could’ve been stronger.

Wire seems great but it was delivered on half a spool and all tangled. This made using it very time consuming and left me way behind where I was hoping to be before bad weather rolled in.

Not sure how to rate this. First time using such a product. Tying knots by hand? As a novice, it's a challenge. It's *not* the fairly easy to bend high tensile wire I watched Tim Thompson use (as seen on "U-toob"). Not just because he's experienced. He bends his wire fairly easily. This wire is much, much stiffer. Even with tools it takes some doing to work it. That would be why I knock off a star—because it does not fit my desired bend-ability. It works for tying knots, but it's a fair challenge. I personally couldn't make it work without the 3-Hole High-Tensile Wire Twisting Tool, also bought at Tractor supply. That and a pair of pliers make it doable for me. NOTE: when you first unhook the wire that is holding the wire to the spool it unravels for several feet into a tangled mess. Not too terribly bad to untangle, but wasn't the "without a spinning jenny" ease I'd hoped for. After only using 40-ish feet for a trellis so far it has otherwise been okay to unroll. Not a reason I'd pass on it if buying again. Just something that is good to know before using it.

Spool came broken and wire was a mess. Returned it and bought something else. Spool was made of compressed cardboard. Obviously any little moisture would ruin it. Not user friendly.

Did what it's supposed to do. It's wire- what else is there to say.
