I got tired of trying to keep air in my 15 yo tires on my Scotts by JD 1842 so after poking a hole in TWO tubes I just bought these tires . I was sceptical because its hard to fit parts to any JD product but these are great and fit most 3/4 and 5/8 axels. Will not fit MTD I series (I think)though...dosent tell you that till you read the instructions.Just not to sure about the plastic bushings......

Have to use the right combination for bushing to work with both wheel and spindle.
3inch hub.
Caution, short plastic tube type grease fitting on bushing, be gentle when using grease gun not to break off.
Tires look good.
Recommend when cant find anything else

This tire fits great on my Troy-Bilt Riding Lawn Mower. I did have to use a piece that came with the tire to make it fit just right. I have a bunch of holes in my yard due to my dogs. Its held up great so far.

Not technically universal............

The tire and rim are perfectly fine, but not universal as the description stated. I had to use the old plastic bushings for the axles to fit snug, but in order to make these work, i used a step bit to drill out the metal bushing to receive the OEM plastic bushing. Also had to cut all but about 1/4" of plastic bushing collar off. Then i just tapped into the female step collar i drilled and it works almost perfectly as if it was designed to fit this way. The other universal tire had more adapters and was probably what i needed, but wasnt available at my store. Late 90's yard machine with 13HP enduro engine.........

2018 Troy-Bilt Bronco works great!

The fitment and look of the wheel is almost identical to the OEM on my 2018 Troy-Bilt Bronco 42". A lot of others have worried about the plastic bushings, but checking my OWM wheels they also seem to be plastic and they've worked well for long mowing sessions for 7 years now, so I think they'll be fine.
