I have a TB mare who has historically had foot problems; our vet recommended giving her as much biotin as I could find in a supplement. This product had the highest by far, so it's what I went with, starting her on it about a year ago. I have to say, the difference in her feet is remarkable! It has really helped her grow out good heels and bars. Added bonus: her mane and tail have also gotten more thick and lush. I just wish it came in smartpaks!

My boy has struggled with soft soles and white line. His soles are so hard now that the hoof knife could barely cut them when it used to be like butter. My personal experience is that adding iodine to the diet is the key. Hooflex has the perfect medium with all of its ingredients when adding to fortified feed.

One month of use has made a drastic improvement! My horse is a thoroughbred, with the classic thoroughbred hooves. After the rainy summer, he was consistently throwing shoes due to brittle hooves drying out from the mud. His hooves are no longer brittle and crumbling, but appear strong and solid! The farrier is very happy with the results. His coat and overall appearance also look better than ever! I'm so pleased. We did have to change around turnout and lower his grain due to more energy on the supplement, but after adjusting down, he is back to normal. Couldn't be happier!
