Spent months finding a non-prescription, less costly dog food for my Labrador only to have 4 Health Sensitive Skin removed from the market and replaced with 4 Health Sensitive Skin/Sensitive Stomach. After several months of my dog putting up with stomach distress, diarrhea, ridiculous gas and itchy spots on skin, due to the formulation change, I have finally found another product that works for him. Another customer forced to move on...

This food is fantastic! Don't let the negative reviews fool you. Either their dog can only tolerate the potato formulas, or they weren't smart enough to gradually mix in the new food with the old for a few weeks, until the dogs digestion acclimated to the new formula. We have a Pug, an English Bulldog and a Cane Corso and their systems are doind great and coats are beautiful!

I did some comparisons to one of the Purina Pro Plan foods. This had pretty much the same ingredients because we were trying to get something less expensive than the biome vet food. We need more probiotics and more fiber and 4Health covers those needs for us. If you don’t have those needs, there are some reasons that pro plan might be better but our doggies love this food way better than biome and pro plan.

I was feeding the Salmon and Potato formula for several years, and my German Shepherd has done very well on that. I seen they had this one with the rice the last time I was in there so I decided to try it out..... huge mistake! She has done nothing but itch constantly and have diarrhea for the 2 weeks that she's been eating this food! Went back today and it's not even on the shelves anymore in my local store. I bought the one with potato that I had been feeding for years this time, I should've never switched.

Why would you change formulas without warning?!
I had just enough food left to acclimate my dogs but my sensitive stomach dog started to throw up again. Which had been fixed with the other formula and to top it off they both have horrible gas.
Unfortunately I'm having to find another food now so yet another customer you have lost after 6+ years.

Don’t buy this food. Since they quit making sensitive skin and went to this dog food. I just had to spend 635.00 at the vet on my dog because after I switched her to this she had diarrhea, bacteria on her colon and not eating . DO NOT BUY! It made my dog so sick!

This food helps our Frenchie with a suspected chicken allergy, there are no chicken related ingredients. She itches much less and likes the food. Only gave 4 stars because the last bag we got through curbside pickup had a hole in it that the employees were aware of because they poorly tried to tape it. Usually open bags are discounted at our location, but I wasn't told the bag was open or offered a discounted price.

I came in to the store to purchase the shots for my dog. I was highly shocked and impressed that they were reasonably priced. I love that they were stored away and properly secured away. The two young lady’s listened first and asked questions to also help me seek a better quality dog food for my puppy. They didn’t shut me down or cut me off. I was gradually adding 4Health Sensitive Skin & Stomach to my dogs' diet. My 5yo Heeler started with diarrhea first and quickly refused to eat. She was lethargic for a few days but after getting back on her previous food she has been fine ever since. My 12yo Heeler did better on the 4Health for about a week, then started with diarrhea, lethargy, and refused to eat. I quit giving it to him. Now I have an 8# bag of food that I won't even scatter in the woods since I'm not sure what's wrong with it.
