- A: Our foods are manufactured in five facilities, all in the United States. Two are located in California, one in Missouri, one in Arkansas and one in South Carolina. We use some ingredients that are not USA sourced, like flaxseed and barley, both which originate in Canada. Lamb and lamb meal are sourced from New Zealand and Australia, potato protein from Germany and dried chicory root from Belgium. There are ingredients that are critical to our formulations (i.e. folic acid and taurine) that can only be sourced out of China. Our choice is to either include these ingredients or manufacture our foods without them, which would not be in the best interest of your pet, in our viewa year agoHelpful?

Never, Never Buy 4Health Kibble

Do yourself and your dogs a favor and NEVER, NEVER purchase a 4Health dog food! I bought the Beef and Rice kibble food on 3/2026 and 5/2026. The kibble looks totally different between these two dates, one much darker and with a different size/shape. Both came from the Lexington, NC store. I had this problem with the salmon product, and had switched to the beef product hoping it would be more consistent. Tractor Supply admits that they continuously have problems with inconsistencies with this product and returns due to dog health consequences. My older 10 lb. Terrier and my 55 lb. Australian Shepherd had severe diarrhea and lethargy on the 5/2026 bag. I returned it to the store and purchased an entirely different product. On a positive note, the manager was exceptionally nice and supportive in this process. He is going to inform corporate of this continuing problem. Tractor Supply, please do a better job at protecting the pets that depend on your food!!

This food was good for about a year but my dogs just stopped eating it. I’ve been having to add goodies to the food to entice them for quite some time now. I switched to “P One Lamb and Rice” and they are so excited. I love watching them be happy about dinner time again!

Food I am sure is an ok brand. I have 5 dogs to feed, but was searching for something that wasn’t just a filler. I have gone through a dozen different brands to find something that wasn’t nutritious yet also help other needs by different dogs. I buy two bags at a time, so we had plenty of time to see if it was going to work or not, it was a no go!! Unfortunately my dogs still acted like they were starving, I have one dog who had allergies and this particular brand was not good for her! And the rest of my dogs seemed to also itch while on it and started licking their paws as well. Just was not a good fit for our family of 5 dogs.

I love everything about 4 Health dog food. It is more nutritious than most premium brands at a more affordable price. Plus it has glucosamine, chondroitin and omega 3 fatty acids.
