On our vet's advice, we switched out 16-year-old dog to a single-source protein food a couple years ago. Although we love our choice (Blue Buffalo), and so did he, it was really getting expensive. A Tractor Supply employee suggested 4Health, and after doing my own research, we decided to give it a try. Switching our boy over has been painless. In fact, he seems to really like the 4Health food. He's only been on the new food a week, but so far, neither I nor my dog have complaints. It's going to be much easier on our budget, as well.

Our dog has done well on this food, but the past several times I've ordered the bags have come with holes or even large rips in the material. Would recommend picking the bags out in store vs. having them shipped/pickup to ensure freshness

We purchased this because we had another dog 5hat it was great for. But, our black lab had diarrhea when he tried eating this. Tried returning almost a whole bad to our local TS and they refused to refund our money. Said they do not do a refund or take partial bags back. How about just a partial refund of our money! So we are out! Retired and could use the refund! I could find no wording in their return policy about no refunds on dog food!

Great food but need 18lb. bag

I have had my pit/boxer mix on 4health adult lamb and rice for about 3 years. She has done very well no skin issues, and shiny coat, great stools. She is now 7 and we are switching to the 4 health mature & vitality brand. I wish they made this in an 18lb. bag but only in 5 and 30lb. I don't understand why this is not available in an 18lb. size like all the other 4health mixes. I worry about the freshness of a large bag (even in a sealed container), after opening for 2 months. that is the timeframe it would take to be used up by my dog. buying 5lb. bags is not cost effective! I hate to, but I may need to change to another brand.

PLEASE DONT EVER STOP MAKING THIS FOOD! I switched my german shepard with hip dysplasya to this food and cut out all the expensive suppliments. I SAW IMPROVEMENT IMMEDIATELY! Then put my 8 year old pug who was dying of all kinds of health problems on this food and he lived to be 16! I recommend this dog food to everyone who has an elderly dog! The glucosamine in this food was more than any other brand I looked into. Thank you so much for making this food! I swear by it!

Need better delivery service

I will not order again until they change delivery service. Fed Ex NEVER delivered my first order but said they did. No pic, no proof and they closed case saying it was delivered. When I questioned delivery driver for replacement delivery, they said the box was empty and was NEVER delivered. Fed Ex lied and never investigated why it was not delivered. Many in my community have had complaints that their packages were delivered we red to someone else's house (as depicted in unfamiliar porches) and nothing was being done about it!
