Pipe-mounted options come in female national pipe thread (FNPT) and male national pipe thread (MNPT) formats, which thread directly into fittings for a fixed install. Pressure Vacuum Breaker Assemblies

Irrigation lines and high-demand water systems move water at pressures a standard hose bibb breaker isn't built for, so they require a full assembly. Pressure vacuum breaker assemblies mount directly at the pipe and come in sizes to match residential and light-commercial supply lines. Anti-siphon models include an air inlet that fires if the outlet end — a buried irrigation head, for example — becomes submerged, stopping that standing water from being drawn back into the clean supply. Union ball valve configurations put isolation valves on both sides of the assembly, so the unit can be removed for service without shutting down or draining the line.

Specialty Vacuum Breakers and Repair Parts

Some vacuum breaker applications fall outside standard hose or irrigation setups. Hand showers connect through tubing and hoses and take in-line vacuum breakers in national pipe thread (NPT) sizes. Toilets and urinal fixtures need breakers designed and rated for those specific uses. Rather than replacing an entire assembly, repair and service kits let you swap out individual components, such as seals and check valves, to get your unit working again.
