The Hi-Lux Optics Offset Plate with 1/2 in. 60 Degree Base is designed for the Malcolm 3X and 6X short scopes only. If you need more clearance for the hammer to mount your Malcolm short scope and a specialized mount is overkill, this is the solution! You will need two of the offset plates (one for rear mount and one for front mount) to side offset the Malcolm short scope. Measuring 1/2 in. tall, these offset plates move the scope a 1/4 in. to the left, enough for proper clearance, but not so much that the shooter is uncomfortable. These offset plates are drilled for 8-40 screws (not included), sold individually, and can only be used with an octagon barrel.
