YETI Rambler 16 oz. Travel Bottle

I got this customized and absolutely love how it turned out—the ridgeline color looks great. I chose the commuter cap because I wanted something spill-resistant for my commute to work, and overall it does meet that need. My only issues are with the cap itself. It can be a little difficult to open, especially if you don’t have great dexterity. The turning piece isn’t very tall, which makes it hard to grip, and there’s no clear indicator showing whether it’s open or closed. You sometimes have to try turning it to be sure, which could lead to thinking it’s shut when it isn’t. I also had one moment where I tried to open it while walking and accidentally unscrewed the entire lid, causing a spill. That said, I still think this lid works best for my needs—it just has a few usability pain points. I wouldn’t recommend this style of lid for someone with arthritis or limited hand strength, as it would likely be difficult to use.

I left a bad review. I had a cup leaking and I had tried and tried to stop it by tightening it more. I was tightening it to tight. By loosening the lid, the leaking stopped. I had compromised the lid.

I have had this for a while now; I don't use it much as it leaks from the cap. in my opinion the cap design is not that great. The center piece that screws in the center of the outer piece always comes loose during transport. I've had my work bag soaked with coffee 3 x now. Yes, it upright, secure but I think just the motion from driving loosens the center cap. I like the size; it fits my hand really nice. a better cap design is needed. So sadly, I don't use it as often as I would like it would be my every day to work yeti if it didn't leak!!
