I am still learning about this grill. My old Weber (25 yrs old) the burners went side to side and I had a nice cooking area between the burners. The new ones go back to front, not as much cooking area in between the burners. Both are 2 burner grills. I like the old way better. But I do like my Weber grill. I think they are great.

Replaced old Weber Genesis grill

Bought new Weber grill to replace my old, but working, Genesis grill. Used it only a few times so far. Seems to cook well, though, have to adjust to differences between the grills. Like the starting mechanism better, and the propane tank is enclosed (mostly) which is nice. There is an odd thing with the flame. I get a occasional small flare and I cannot figure out why. Grease does not flow onto the flame like the old grill allowed. No big flare-up, and the meat does not catch on fire like the old grill. Unit seems solid enough though not as heavy-duty as the old grill.
