$300 throw away item ?

The friction discs eventually wear out. Tractor Supply does not carry the replacement discs for this clutch so you have to contact the manufacturer, locate one of their distributers, and have them order them for you. The replacement discs are expensive and the process is time consuming. The discs available online from online retailers are not the same exact inside diameter dimension for this. Tractor Supply should stock the replacement discs. I guess the figure that people will just buy another one which is what I had to do to finish mowing my pastures. I couldn't wait weeks for the discs. Also, the manufacturer's manual on the TS website is for a different clutch with no springs. The clutch needs to be adjusted periodically. The manual is completely useless for the product.

Does what it's supposed to. But 3 bills for a $80 clutch is foolish. Good luck finding the replacement friction disks.

Good quality. No more sheared bolts,

I sheared 4 grade 5 bolts running my PTO stump grinder. I purchased this clutch, and it slips like it should. The only issue is the bolts loosened in the first 20 minutes of use causing me to have to make some adjustments early on. I believe it was set too low when i purchased it.
I do not believe it should cost 300 dollars though.
