Q: How to clean before first use

- A: Hi GG 337! Per the manufacturer. WaterPrepared tanks are sterilized prior to delivery through an extremely high-temperature molding process. Rinsing your tanks may be helpful but washing them prior to filling is not necessary. WaterPrepared uses vacuum drills in the manufacturing process to minimize plastic shavings inside your tanks. To remove any shavings that may have fell in during assembly you may use a vacuum or simply fill as normal then scoop the shavings off the top. Plastic shavings are harmless and will float on top of your water. Chlorine, chlorine tablets, and other substances approved for treating water may be used upon filling your tank to kill bacteria that may have appeared during delivery.a month agoHelpful?

Q: Can the bottom spigot be unthreaded and replaced with a hose bib or other fitting? If so what thread size?

- A: Hi Neighbor! Per the manufacturer, your tank will come with two lead-free brass hose-bib spigots, teflon tape, a spring loaded cap and instructions. You will not need to purchase additional fittings to use your tank.a year agoHelpful?

Very durable and large storage. Great design for the outdoorsman and personally for our camping experience. Easy to maintain I personally think and can easily be placed in the back of your truck and filled up.

I am really impressed with this 55 gallon water container and I love that they're stackable, you can see in the pics how the bottom & top are made for secure stacking & water is the smartest thing you can have on hand in emergencies. I have peace of mind with extra water for me & my animals.. I would highly recommend you get at least one for your household

Heavy duty water tank with attached spigot

Very impressed with this water tank!! I plan on using it to collect rain water. It is HUGE and includes a nice spigot on the bottom. I haven't been able to test it fully yet, but I was able to add some water with my hose and tilt it forward to pour it out. I'm excited for it to fill with rain water for this Texas heat!!
