- A: Yes, this is safe for kittens. We also have a product in the pet section of Tractor Supply called Antimicrobial Pet Eye Gel, which can also be used. If there is build-up of exudate or debris, we suggest using our Eye Rinse first to make sure the eye is clean and flushed out. Then the eye gel can be applied. - A: For Pink Eye in livestock, including goats, we recommend our Pink Eye Spray. This is in all Tractor Supply stores in the livestock section. The 16 oz bottle is dark blue and has a trigger sprayer. The name "Pink Eye Spray" is in Pink. This bottle has a stream and fan spray and we recommend this liquid over the ophthalmic gel for pink eye. Follow the directions for use and you should see things clear up quickly. The per-application cost is very inexpensive and can also be used across your herd. Good luck!a year agoHelpful?

- A: Terramycin and Vetericyn Plus Ophthalmic Gel have similar indications for use and can both be used for conjunctivitis and eye irritations. Terramycin is an antibiotic and is now more difficult to obtain because of recent antibiotic initiatives put in place by the USDA. Depending on the severity of the pink eye, we recommend using our Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Eye Wash first as that cleans up and clears out the contaminants that cause pink eye. If the case is more severe, you can use a combination of Eye Wash and Ophthalmic Gel. It is important to flush out the eye and remove contaminants first when doing a pink eye treatment.
