Well designed. Only thing that could make it better is . . better wheels or rollers. I roll the planter out to my deck when it's warm and roll inside when it is cool overnight. The small rollers on the planter don't do the job. I have to carry it outside. The fruit planters have better wheels, but they are too big for one tomato plant.

Expensive, but nice and convenient. Worth spending extra money buying other Vego products if it means getting this for free.

I love these planters so much I bought 3. We live in the country and deer love vegetable and flower gardens. The only way I can grow anything is in containers on our deck and these definitely fit the bill.

I think the concept is good but the wheels are too small to work smoothly on concrete. It’s a chore to move it around. Bigger wheels would help. I still have to water almost every day as the top still dries out enough to make me worry about moisture loss for the plant. The cage support seems adequate so far but we’ll see as the plant gets bigger. When I do water the excess dribbles out and stains the cement patio. I like the depth of the planter as it seems deep enough for a tomato plant. With some improvements like bigger wheels and a collector tray or some alternative anti-dribble system to prevent staining it would be a better product. Also, since the wheels are insufficient, a usable pair of handles for relocating would be a big help. The existing handles only lift out the inner pot and leaves the outer pot behind so you have to have two people to relocate the system.
