This feeder can hold up to 80lbs. of corn, 70lbs. of protein, and 50lbs. of rice bran, providing ample food for your wildlife. The viewing window allows you to check the feed level without opening the feeder, and the adjustable feed flow allows you to control the amount of feed dispensed, making sure your feed lasts longer. The punched base pan allows for drainage and airflow, keeping feed dry and fresh. - A: It really depends on how high the breed of chickens you have can jump. We dont really test them for these situations. I would think you would be able to hang it at a height that the chickens wouldnt find it and the emus could. Difficult Assembly

This feeder was very difficult to assemble. Directions were lacking details and clear illustrations. On the plus side, it is solid (heavy) and durable. It holds a lot of deer corn so I don’t have to refill it often. After 3 weeks of using it the deer have not taken to it. The Ring camera I have viewing it shows the deer are afraid of it and only eat the corn on the ground that the squirrels knock out while feeding. Hope that changes.

Excellent gravity feeder. Sturdy and well made. Feed stays dry. Makes 2 bags of feed last weeks due to it being adjustable. We haven’t had a picture yet of anything other than deer eating from it. So far the squirrels and raccoons haven’t figured it out.

Bought this for my son on sale and put it on a t post in his backyard. Easy to assemble and very sturdy . I also used some silicone when assembling the upper and lower halves. If these were available when I bought my Rednecks I would have went with the metal ones.

I purchased this Treeline hanging deer feeder from my local Tractor Supply in NW Florida and I'm glad I did.
I have several types of animal feeders on our property, but they are all fairly big. I wanted a feeder that I could set up that wasnt easily seen from the outerspace, but was big enough to hold 60-80lbs of feed. I found this and its the perfect fit. This feeder was easy to assemble (10 minutes) and easy to set up(thanks to the supplied cinch straps. I attached this feeder to a straight little oak tree and filled it up with deer protein feed.
After a day and a night, i had deer showing up and waiting for their turn to hit it up.
The only modification that I made. I used some silicone to fill a few small gaps on the inside of the feeder, were I thought I might lose a little protein. Probably not needed, but I wanted to do it.

Had feeder on tree less than 2 months, found on ground straps were broke and the feeder had come apart. the back of the feeder had come apart at the bends. Going to try to get it welded back together. hope i can find some more straps. I thought this feeder would last a long time I was wrong.
