Seems like a good winch ,But the first time i used it to try it out there was a bolt at the bottom of the spool and tore the cable cut it in a few spots , now its unusable wasnt one of the installation bolts it was in the spool deep out of the box. so useless now. i only seen ot when i had to unwind the entire spool.not real happy with it..

Size is perfect but it almost burned down my truck in a rainstorm

This is my second one. Thought the first one died but it was the additional wiring we had bought years ago. So we are using it for our trailer. I do suggest that if you are running wire a longer distance to your battery to use a good solid copper wire and that it is a heavier gauge than the winch to carry the current the distance. Our first one we used a wire with aluminum in it and it just didn't hold up over a long period of time.

I ordered this winch to install on my utility trailer to assist in loading large and heavy items. When I received the winch, I discovered that it was meant to be installed on an ATV or UTV which was clearly noted on the website description. The only drawback was that the winch has an attached, corded remote control. I kind of wanted a wireless remote so I could walk around the trailer and item being loaded and help guide the item onto the trailer while operating the winch at the same time. A friend had that set-up on his trailer, and it worked great. I'm not one who returns items often, especially when it was my oversight so, I went ahead and installed the winch. I purchased a toolbox and mounted it to the tongue A-frame and installed a new battery and the winch relay in the toolbox. I may have to work a little harder without the wireless remote but, the winch works great, and I am happy with it. It appears to be a quality piece of equipment, and I would recommend it to anyone and Tractor Supply delivered it very quickly. Thanks!!!!

Works great for the price. Needed it for my blade on my four wheeler. Comes with everything you need to install.

I use it to load meatal trash dumpsters on to my trailer it works good. Only problem I have found with it the cable will wound up in a ball on the winch it needs something to move the cable from side to side. But other than that it works good

Winch itself works great, when it’s working.  I bought this for my atv to plow snow in my driveway.  I’ve plowed twice now and broke down.  The first time the solenoid went bad and wouldn’t allow me to lift (bring in).  Warranties it out and got a new solenoid.  A year later after I got my next snow storm. Cleared the driveway and it quit again. This time nothing works.   The switch and the solenoid both went bad.  Thinking it’s best to just buy an aftermarket switch setup and avoid having to replace everything each time I plow my driveway

Great little winch at a great price. Fit my four-wheeler perfectly and performs without any problems. Easily installed in about 2 hours, start to finish. I only needed to purchase one additional mounting plate/adaptor specific for my brand of four-wheeler. It was an additional $58 that I was expecting to need and ordered before purchasing the winch.

Works great easy to assemble, but the small print was hard for me to read.

I will not be buying another winch of this brand. Gears are steel , but the bell housing is aluminum which has gear teeth which engages the planetary gears. If you use this winch to lift a snow plow, the up and down movements will grind off the teeth in the bell housing. I only used the winch for snow plowing and I have worn out two winches. They last about 5 years each.

Good quality for the price. No trouble installing. Works really well.

my old one on my hog trap gave up. had it for years. bought another just like what was there. it works flawlessly.

Winch seems powerful enough for what I need it for. The instructions were crap. The wiring diagram was too small. I had to take a picture of it and blow it up. It still lacked a bit as you had to guess which side is which. There is a small wire coming off the switch which they showed in the diagram but did not specify what it for or where to hook it up. It was red so I guessed that it went to power and I was right. Once I did that, the winch worked. I called the customer support section and the recording said they closed due to weather. There were receiving rain at 9 p.m. that was to the east in North Carolina.

I'm very happy with it it works real well.

The winch is rated for 2500 pounds and it burned up 5 minutes after mounting it to my trailer and trying to winch a 600 pound jet ski on to it.

Big Failure. Installed two in a row on a small trailer. Neither worked!! Customer service was available and courteous BUT of no help. DIRECTIONS & MANUAL ARE WORTHLESS!!

Great product for lifting metal i need moved at my house.luv it.

Easy to install. I did replace the steel cable with a synthetic tope. Works great. I got this mounted on a 2023 Yamaha Kodiak. I used a KFI mounting plate. The winch fit perfect. I mounted the solenoid in a space next to battery. Combined with a snatch block, was able to pull a can am maverick sport out of a mud pit. No issues so far.
