Tractor Supply Reflective Collar

I chose this sturdy, wide collar in medium because my 32 lb dog is extremely strong, but only has a 13" neck. Most collars for her neck size are too dainty and she can easily pop the clasp open. The heavy duty clasp on this collar is amazing! However, I would only recommend it for dogs who don't pull, or who have a harness or metal collar added for walks, because the adjustment buckle loosens with pressure. Not to an extreme degree, but I do have to tighten it up once or twice a day because the teeth on the buckle are not angled down enough to really grab onto the material. If this was improved, the collar would be perfect.

The collar would not stay at selected size and slip off everyday. Constantly adjusted and tried different ways to lock it in, but would not work.

After a month of my Labrador wearing this collar, it shaved a complete section of hair off the top portion her neck. I think because it’s thin and has somewhat of a straight edge it shaved off her hair, whereas most collars kind of have rounded edges. The collar was not placed on my dog overly tight either I like for them to be comfortable. It’s a beautiful collar, but it is flawed in design. I should’ve returned it as it was over 20 something dollars and she will never wear it again.

Love this collar for my dogs. Sturdy buckles and webbing has made this the favorite collar we have ever purchased. Easy to get on or off, handy ring to clip leases to and comfortable for the dogs to wear. Getting a new collar soon as a skunk just made our buddy's collar not fun to wear.
