This is a nice box, though it lacks any weather stripping and the lid is already warping a bit in the sun. For the price, its great, but plan on putting some kind of weather barrier on the lid or you'll have water in it really fast.

I like having a lite weight box to place in the zone of construction, so that when the rain comes there's a quick place to put tools. The box opening has a tall curb edge that receives the lid so that water will not trickle in. The box has length and volume to accept a quantity and large sized tools. This box, as well, fits nicely across the mid size truck bed. Thick plastic walls are sturdy. I bought two units.

Don’t know about the tool box. Ordered it on 01/07/25 has not arrived at store on 01/23/25. Tracking shows it has shipped back to its second shipping stop. It was in a state next door now it shows to be 3 states from me. Someday?

Good Size, It Can Hold Two Chainsaws In Their Case And Two Gallons Of Chainsaw Oil & 1 1/4 Gas Container and Has A Bonus Shelf that Can Be Put On The Top Of These. It's A Good Fit Width Wise In The 500 lb. Aluminum Foldable Truck Cargo Carrier. Would Be Nice If There Was A Way To Attach It With Out Drilling Holes For Bolts. The Gas Can Is Probably Not A Good Idea As It Has Fumes, But, There Is Enough Room Length-Wise To Put A Tall Rectangular Metal Gas Can Of Gas On The Outside, (On The Right Or The Left Side).

For the price you really aren’t gonna get much more. I had a 6 year old box in the bed of my truck with my tools in it and this is a huge upgrade. It’s not the width of a truck bed but I like that it’s about the same height. My only complaint is having to cut 2x4 into small spacers because the lid doesn’t let it open fully when against the back of a truck bed.
