The Tough1 Softfleece Horse Blanket Liner/Sheet is warm as wool without the added fabric. This horse blanket liner is great for added warmth under a blanket or used alone as a cooler. Made of 100% Softfleece™, this horse blanket liner features an adjustable buckle front, fleece wither protection, adjustable surcingle belly strap, and tail string to prevent shifting. The horse blanket liner is light, yet surprisingly warm - perfect for post training cooling. This horse blanket liner wicks moisture away from the surface of the skin, keeping your horse warm and dry.

- A: Hi Ecluttrell, Thanks for reaching out. Honestly "standard size" donkey varies from person to person. If you know what size winter blanket or sheet your donkey wears then this will hopefully help... Small = 57"- 66", Medium = 69" - 72", Large = 75" - 78", X-Large = 81" - 84"(if you do not know this measurement please measure your donkey from center of chest, around his side and to the center of his tail and this will give you the correct size and always round up)3 years agoHelpful?

Q: There is one set of sizes on the product description and a different set of sizes given as a response to a customer question...which set of sizes is accurate? I am needing no smaller than a 57" or no larger than a 60".

- A: I think they run a tad small, especially after washi g they shrink a bit. They did the trick as stable blankets for my horses but I use flake shavings and the shavings got stuck in the fleece when the horses laid down. I could NEVER get all the shavings off so I’m looking forward other blankets. Good value if you don’t use flake shavings.5 years agoHelpful?

- A: Here is the manufacturer response: This is a difficult answer to give. The horses body chemistry is a lot like a human. Some horses get colder easier and some get hotter easier. This liner does have moisture wicking abilities, so if the horse does sweat some it will help wick it away. More information of climate in the area would be helpful.6 years agoHelpful?

Good fit, soft and warm

Nice soft fleece that fits to a T. Cute design - we got lots of comments for Memorial day patriotic stars on a dark blue background. Looking forward to using it alone or under his rain sheet for colder weather.

Good value as a cooler.

For a cooler, it's a great value. For a blanket liner, not so much. I like the material and generously sized fit. It's attractive. However, it slid down my TB mare's withers under her turnout blanket and was hanging down her hind legs, annoying her. There's not much keeping it on. I'm going to use it as a cooler, but not as a blanket liner.

Nice price point but wierd fit

I did not expect a lot because the price point on this. I wanted to use it as a light layer under a sheet. The fit is wierd. Very big in the neck and the belly strap hangs too low. I’m using it as a light cooler now and it’s good for that.
