The vented inner layer works in conjunction with the vented outer layer to provide 360 deg. of maximum protection and comfort. These boots fit exactly as expected. The size chart is accurate. The Velcro on them at first is STRONG. Once you get them on and off a few times and washed then it is not so bad, but definitely holds nicely. They do shift a bit to the side though. Only “complaint”, which isn’t a big one.
