- A: If the rat was consuming an anticoagulant bait, the level of risk depends on several factors including, when the rodent ate the bait, the quantity of bait consumed, the gender, age, health and genetics of the dog. For the active ingredient, bromethalin, there are no studies to date demonstrate that bromethalin remains active in rodent tissues or causes harm via tissue ingestion to date. However, as not all exposure scenarios can be fully evaluated, secondary poisoning cannot be entirely excluded. Consumption of rodents by pets should therefore be minimized to reduce this theoretical risk, as well as potential exposure to rodent-borne diseases. A Product That Really Works

I finally found a way to put poison out to control the mice in our barn that I am confindent my Grandchildren nor my cat cannot accidently get at the poison. It locks with a key so there can be no mistakes.

I ordered and paid for 3 traps. I drove 20 miles to pick them up. When they came out to the car there was only one trap. When I asked what happened I was told we only had one. No apology. I was told that they may get more Friday. I better receive credit for the other 2. I will not be patronizing your company again.

I have a couple of these on my property. The work well at killing rodents, but unfortunately the same is true for racoons. I got these because I thought non target animals couldn't get to the bait. But, racoons pick the things up, shake them and throw them around until the bait comes out. Captured on a game cam. The cover remains in place. These things are only good if you can stake them down somehow. Otherwise, if you have racoons in the area you're going to kill them.

this is the real thing. I am so happy to find it at Tractor supply. This particular bait station is extremely sturdy and best of all no keys! you can secure it with a zip tie or a small screw volt. I've been looking for this product and all everyone else seem to carry is the smaller ones with the keys that are extremely frustrating. the rodents have easy access and the cubes stay secure. the best in the market

Rats aren't attracted to it

Rats were killing our baby chicks, so we set this next to the brooders. They didn't go anywhere near it, but they did chew on a bait I threw into their tunnel. We found a better solution and share that in a video we made.

Works great to hide rat snap traps AND e-traps!

I don’t put poison in this. I use it to contain & conceal TomCat rat snap traps and electronic rat traps (zap traps) to “neutralize” squirrels that have been wreaking havoc on my house. It works great, bait the traps with Aldi crunchy peanut butter.

It might work very well....if only it came with freaking BAIT! And the TSC doesn't SELL the dang bait that fits this trap (you know - with HOLES in it to be able to slide down on the rod that keeps the bait in place). And I can't find the bait anywhere. So, I wasted my money, and now have to put up with a rat in my house till I find something that will work and have it SHIPPED to me. very disappointed.

I bought a station and bucket of bait blocks, set it up in my barn where I'd seen daily rat activity, and 2 days later there is NO activity at all. WOW I cannot believe it worked that fast! Also on that first day, I tossed several blocks into the loft where there is no feed but where I'd heard a lot of rat activity. All afternoon I could hear the rats moving the blocks around. This Tomcat bait is the best bait I've found for speed of kill and apparent palatability to rodents.

I had too many field mice in our garden next to our compost pile. I placed the bait station with the Chunky bait. No activity after a week, and I found one mouse remain inside the compost very likely due to eating the bait.
