Works great! I looked all over for a draw knife, and TSC was the only company to sell one in town. It's becoming a pattern not to find the tool I'm looking for at Lowes or Home Depot, but TSC will have it. Love TSC!

You get want you pay for with this Made In China drawknife. Mine did not arrive sharp, although I read reviews saying that it did. I was not looking to spend a lot on a tool that I was using to strip bark from oak posts so I took the gamble knowing that I was not purchasing a quality tool. I would not recommend this to anyone doing fine woodwork. Definitely not an heirloom. The handles are bolted on which I thought might be a good thing for the rigorous use associated with my task but I found myself getting a flathead screwdriver and wrench to tighten both handles after about 15 minutes of use. Unfortunately I predict this will be the future routine for me. I had it in my head that this comes with a sheath but it does not. It comes with a thin rubber blade guard that really isn’t good for anything except maybe shipping. Again, you get what you pay for. The bigger issue for me was the hassle of getting it from tractor supply. I ordered online and had it shipped to my nearest store. Several days later I received an email from TS saying that my order had arrived and that it was ready to be picked up. I drove about 30 minutes to the store where I was told that they could not find it. Two different employees looked for it and were very apologetic but were unable to locate it. They told me that most likely it had arrived but had not been checked into the inventory yet. They suggested that I call the store the next day to talk with the inventory receiver before driving in again. The next day I did as instructed, told the man who answered the phone that I wanted to speak with the order receiver and was told that they did not have a receiver. I repeated what the previous employees had told me and was snidely cut off while trying to explain the situation. I was then put on hold for about 5 minutes while the man attempted to figure out where my order was. Eventually he got back on the phone and said he would have to call me back. He called about an hour later and told me that my order had been delivered somewhere but he didn’t know where. He reordered the knife for me and about 4 days later it was ready for pickup. For real this time. I highly recommend that you call the store and have someone locate your order before going to store. Do not rely on the email alone.
