Ships empty. You will have to exchange it.

I am a weekend hobbyist, so it makes sense to have my own cylinder. It may last a couple of years for me and I do not need to keep paying rental fees like in other places. TS stores are open on the weekends and exchange cost is really good. Those were my decision points.
IT SHIPS EMPTY! IT IS A TRACTOR SUPPLY POLICY.
Workers in the store were convinced it was full. I had to insist on verification and it turned out to be empty. Paid extra and exchanged it on the spot for a full cylinder.
When you order, make sure it is shipped to a store with Shielding Gas Cylinder Exchange available to save time and efforts.

The tank is empty...despite what customer service folks tell you....it is empty. It is a nice tank...few places will fill it.....most do exchange...so kiss your new tank goodbye...I am sure it is a good tank...just empty

Great tanks and sizes. There are well sealed — no leaks. We switched from a large industrial supplier and always assumed our regulators leaked a little. Nope! Once we switched, our line pressure stays even once tank is off for days.
