This Tarter 6 Bar Economy Tube Gate is the perfect gate for access between pastures and entry ways. This 14 ft. economy tube gate stands 50 in. high with two vertical Z braces and continuous-welded saddle joints. For strength, the 6-bar economy tube gate is constructed of 1-3/4 in. high tensile strength tubing and has a durable, corrosion resistant powder over E-coat finish for superior longevity. Please note the black economy tube gate is recommended for light confinement only.Please note all gates are 3 in. shorter than listed length to allow for gate hardware and proper clearance

Q: How far out of the ground do the gate holder post need to be

  • A: For gates with standard 2×4 framing and 4×4 posts, leave a 1/2- to 3/4-inch space between the latch post and the gate frame. On the hinge side, it will depend on the hardware you use. About 1/4 inch is usually sufficient.

    Gates are beautiful. Delivery took almost 4 weeks longer than what the website said. Tarter people not helpful at all in resolving or making it right. Most gates came in good shape. 1 of the gates had a good size dent in the top which I was told they won’t do anything about. So in all, I got his gate because black was hard to find. Gate is not bad, but experience in getting it delivered and the Tarter company was poor.
