Q: What do people generally use as a "bottom"? We are placing it on our deck. Would it be best to just get a sheet of meal and drill some holes in it for drainage?
a year ago- A: Thank you for reaching out regarding the placement of your raised garden bed. We truly appreciate your interest in our product and your trust in us. To clarify, while raised garden beds are a great way to grow plants in a controlled environment, we generally do not recommend placing them directly on a wooden deck. Over time, moisture and soil drainage can potentially damage the deck surface or cause structural issues. For best results and to protect your deck, we suggest placing the garden bed on a stable ground surface or using a protective barrier and proper drainage solutions if you must install it on a deck. We're here to help you find the best setup for your space, and we’d be happy to offer guidance on safe placement options or alternative solutions. Thank you for your understanding, and please don’t hesitate to reach out with any further questions at 833-982-1977.a year agoHelpful?
