Built specifically with fishermen in mind, the Sun Dolphin 12 ft. 3.5 in. Boss 12 Sit-On-Top Fishing Kayak is loaded with features normally seen only on expensive, high-end angler kayaks. Our goal when building the Boss 12 SS was to create a sturdy sit-on-top kayak that all fishermen could afford. For confidence and stability, it features a catamaran hull, anti-slip pads, stand-up assist strap, and a comfortable seating system. It's maneuverable, tracks well, and has all the storage places needed for tackle, tools, and fishing accessories. Proudly made in the USA.

Sudden Change Design without telling anybody

They updated the design without even having any of the retailers update their description and pictures. Not to mention SunDolphin didn't even update their website on it. The new "improved design" just gets rid of the high and low seating positions, by throwing a cheap rubber bushing to let the seat snap into with the front of the seat just flopping around. So instead of being able to sit up high which was a big plus for this kayak you can't anymore. Should have just kept the original design, and actually improved it.

Great boat, like most kayaks, if you’re heading into the wind , it tends to not track very well. Seat is not as comfortable as I had hoped. Back of seat keeps loosening up.

Disappointed in seat bracket change.

They removed the adjustable seat bracket. Now the seat is extremely low and only snaps in the back. Contacted the company to see if we could get the brackets they used to include and they wanted to charge over $200 to send them out as "replacement parts". The paddle straps are useless for holding any paddles that we have even the lightweight carbon fiber ones. It is a very heavy kayak and not easy to load on a roof rack or to carry by yourself far any distance.
