Q: Spring lubrication. The 4x6 galvalume kit trailer has slipper springs. Does the sliding portion of the spring get any lubrication?

- A: Hi there Doug, Our Galvalume 4x6 Kit Trailers that come with the Dexter Spring Axles. Dexter single-spring slipper springs are designed to operate dry and do not require lubrication at the sliding contact point. Applying grease or oil can actually attract dirt and debris, which may accelerate wear. As part of normal maintenance, we recommend periodic visual inspection of the springs and hardware to ensure everything remains in good condition. Missing side rails

The trailer was delivered in 4 boxes. Everything was in the boxes, except the 2 side rails and connection hardware for connection to all the rails. I emailed the compnay and was told that the side rails will be shipped within 1-2 business days. That just happened

Don’t order anything online

Don’t order anything on line. Ordered on line while at the store. Immediately realized trailer was smaller than what we needed. While still at store we tried to cancel. Manager advised that since it was ordered on line we would have to cancel through customer service. Attempted to contact customer service by phone. No representative to answer call. After waiting on hold for over an hour, left number for auto call back. Never heard back. Went on line to order and attempted to cancel. Never heard back. All this done within the hour from being at store. Order shipped to store. Was able to cancel at store AFTER store received item but WAS STILL CHARGED for shipping although we made numerous attempts to cancel.

Looks like it got banged around a bit & repacked

Got some dented parts even though the boxes were fine. Looks like it got banged around in a warehouse or something, then repackaged.
