We travel to several cabins during the summer. This internet connection’s portability made it possible for some family members to continue working. In years past they had had to shorten vacationing because they couldn’t afford to be away from work for very long. (They are self employed .) The kids were also able to stay entertained and thus didn’t whine about being away from home and friends.

Great little unit, if you want to run on 12volts beware that cigarette lighter step up transformers might not work with the 50 foot cable. You may be better using a 12v to 120v unit and using the power supply included
