This Sportsman 7,000W Dual Fuel Digital Inverter Portable Generator has your house covered in the event of a power outage. Each generator can be used with both LPG or traditional gasoline, making it extremely versatile. Perfect for RVs or camping, this generator features a low oil shutoff for added generator protection. The included low oil shut off feature helps prevent damage to the engine when your oil levels are low. It comes with a 5 ft. regulator hose kit, set of DC connectors for charging 12V automotive-type batteries, and spark plug wrench.

Good Generator but Factory QC Issues

Overall Good Generator. I choose this one since its the lightest split phase inverter generator I could find in the wattage category for a decent price. Just so happens to be the best price. I bought this for 50amp RV service. I didn't want a 200lbs generator. I needed something I could lift easily by myself into the bed of the truck without ramps. This one is just light enough at under 140lbs enough to for that. Generator runs well and performs as expected.
4 stars instead of 5 because of factory quality control. I had a fuel leak at the shutoff valve out of the box. The issue is taken care of through warranty claim and I replaced the valve. There was an issue but they took care of it so I'll give it 4 stars.

Fire Hazard, Gas Leaking Out!

Went to start it for the first time, filled the gas tank, and opened the gas petcock valve, fuel started to leak all over the driveway. Found the gas line was not connected to the petcock valve. Poor quality control, hope no other surprises!

Good but check the bolts

This generator worked very well. When it was shipped to the house all I had to do was add oil and put gas in it what I didn't like is the old was not shipped with it so I had to go find some oil to go in it. After running it one night I noticed that the screw backed out to the air filter to hold it on and there's nowhere to be found now so that's why this product gets three stars and not four or five because one it was shipped without the oil that you need to run it into the bolts went and tight enough and came out within 5 hours of running. But to say this generator was big enough to run my camper and everything in it so I am happy with it

When Sportsman sends a lemon, don't make lemonade

I followed the instructions exactly. When I turned the gas on, it ran gas out all over the place. I returned it to TSC and was about to order a replacement. That's when I read all the reviews and noted that others had the same issue as well as additional issues with this model. Even at 60% off, it's not worth the money.

I have only used this so far for the break in period but it ran great. By no means is this unit quite, but it is much quite then the non inverter generators in this size category. I went with this unit over other for the 50amp hookup capability for whole house backup. Most other only have 30amp which limits the wattage of the hookup, so u less you also run extension cords you are wasting the fact that you bought such a large generator. I also purchased this due to the pure sine wave, some other brands are modified sine wave and can cause issues with sensitive electronics not working properly.

First one I received had been dropped and metal pieces came out of the exhaust when I attempted to start it with the battery option. One pull on the cord, and the cord wouldn't retract. Took it back and ordered a second one. The second one showed up covered in oil that had leaked out of the generator somewhere? They aren't supposed to have oil in them! Got all that cleaned up and added fuel (and more oil) and it would not even start.

After 25 hours of run time, it still fires up on propane and gas within one pull on the starter cord. Runs the 3/4 HP well pump, propane furnace and lights simultaneously. Voltage and frequency are 120.0V RMS and 60.1 Hz.
The price is good for what you get. No fancy features, but I wish a wheel kit was available.
