The lightweight and balanced design of this cordless chainsaw makes it comfortable and maneuverable, reducing fatigue and the risk of injury. This rear-handled chainsaw also features a built-in safety chain break, which stops the chain in seconds to protect the operator in the event of an accident. Anti-vibration mountings on the handle of this 20 in. chainsaw round out the comfort and safety features. The chainsaw is EPA approved for safe use and peace of mind.

Revoked man-card

To all the bad reviewers who couldn't get their chain saw started, by order of the man council, effective immediately, your man-cards have been revoked. I assembled the chainsaw, mixed the gas, filled the tank, pushed the primer bulb, and guess what? It started 3rd pull. Stayed running. Ran out of gas, refilled the tank, pressed primer bulb about 5 times, and guess what? Started again on the 3rd pull. You either know nothing about small engines, at which point, you shouldn't be operating a chainsaw. Or you just wanted to use the saw 1 time and needed to put a bad review to take it back. There is nothing wrong with this saw. Works great. Runs great. Great price to boot.

Poor Quality Chainsaw

Bought my first Sportsman on the first use the saw ran for about thirty minutes then I was unable to start it again, took it back toTSC and ordered another one. It ran for about forty minutes then would not start again. I read where someone wrote you need to let it cool down to start it again. I’ve run chainsaw for over fifty years as long as the gas mixture is right and the plug is clean a chain saw should run all day. Nothing negative about TSC, but they should suspend selling this brand until the manufacturer resolves the issue.

Terrible purchase!

Never started. The instructions stated to pull cord vigorously until engine start. I did so and snapped for pull cord. Had to return it same day it was delivered to my house.

Had to return it because after going through the process of putting it together and putting gas in it there was nothing I could do to get it started. It wouldn't frame at all as though it was plugged. Didn't get another one
