We're finding the battery drains in less than 24 hours. Purchased new Duracells and same thing happened.

This safe should be in the stores! It is too hard to retrofit a regular gun safe to put in shelves for ammo only for the price point. And that would save the shipping cost, AND THEY WOULD SELL! It is a great size for inside a closet for ammo, and as a basic safe for Jewelry or $$. Has a 40 minute fire rating but kind of thin on the protection/ break-in prevention. I have a much hardier safe for my guns and valuables. But this design is the best for what it is intended for -- AMMO. At 218# it was easy enough to transport and get setup. HD steel reinforced shelves handle the weight and I like that they were adjustable! The other make of ammo safe was NOT adjustable. As an aside it has 2 spots for long guns in front of the shelves but best used for shotguns or rifles without scopes as the limited space seems to easily prevent the door from closing. I wish a slightly larger model was available like 60" H X 24 - 28" wide and the same depth. I like the easy combo change button and the emergency Keys! All factors that made me buy this model and pay the $120 shipping charge to the store in Louisiana (from Portland, OR)! Always a Great staff and a great price at my Tractor Supply.

The ammunition safe was picked up by me and placed in my brother’s home. The unit had no damage and all parts were there. My brother who is out of state will complete its final placement and programming of the e-lock. The personnel at Tractor Supply were very helpful in loading the safe into my pickup truck.

Nice little Ammo Safe. Only used for storing Ammo. Wish it was about 5-10 cu ft bigger. Much better than the Liberty Ammo can that has no fire rating. Was delivered with cosmetic damage so otherwise it would've been 5 stars.
