Skout's Honor Probiotic Ear Cleaner For Dogs and Cats

Our Nala has a sensitive skin and her ears get inflamed easily! We were recently gifted this probiotic ear cleaner with aloe Vera and has been honestly the greatest relief for our dog. She is not going after it and the redness goes away. We would strongly recommend it!

We like to clean the visible dirt with a cotton wipe and then fill the ear with the liquid, gently massage the c ear canal and then let our pup shake her head, followed by another dry cotton wipe to get the rest of the gunk out. We've noticed that our dogs ears stay cleaner for longer with this product! Highly recommend!

Bowie’s ears have never been cleaner or more comfortable. He’s had gunk in ONE of his ears for a while now, and the probiotic formula really helps with irritation/I’ve noticed way less scratching. I've used A LOT of ear cleaning solutions (natural and "conventional") in my dogs' ears over the years and this is by far the best; it has made such a difference for my current dog and we haven't had any trips to the vet for ear issues since starting using it.

This crap is thee worst. My Rottweiler has had sensitive ears for 6+ years now. He is prone to ear infections. I thought I would try this wash as a preventative. Oh no. Not good! I ended up in the vet ER on NYE bc his ear infection now turned into a trifecta of bacteria. He often gets yeast infections, but never bacteria. How weird, I tried this stuff with ‘good bacteria,’ and now my dog was miserable with a double ear infection. First time. The vet said probiotics are good for the gut- NOT the ear. I hate blasting people products- but I really wish someone would have advised against this when I read the reviews. Dont do it for the same reason I did.

I rarely leave reviews but had to for this product. My golden retriever is naturally prone to ear issues. I’ve tried MANY other ear cleaners almost all of which were too harsh for his ultra sensitive ears, leaving them red and irritated. Most recently Curaseb was one that immediately made his ears inflamed and made the itching worse. I found this product and have been obsessed with it. It’s gently enough that I can use it daily whenever I feel that his ears are extra yeasty. It never leaves his ears irritated, always soothes them and is effective at getting all the wax out. My only feedback is to come out with a larger size for customers like us who have to use it more frequently. Thank you SO much for making this wonderful product!

Works wonders for our dog! she has long floppy ears and gets yeast to build up quickly but this cleans her ears so well it's not a struggle anymore!

It's a little early to tell but we do like how it softens the wax in the ear to be able to remove it much easier.

My puppies ears get nasty quick he has long floppy ears! But with this cleaner it helps him keep his ears clean and healthy!! After I started using this no more ear infections and no more trips to the vet to get ear drops! His ears are in incredible shape now! Cant recommend this product enough!!

We use this ear wash on our Irish wolfhound who tends to get ear infections on her left ear. Since using this product we haven't had any issues with her getting infections. Highly recommend using this product

My dog isnʻt a huge fan of me squirting things into his ears so I usually pour this into a small glass and drench q-tips in it and work out the wax. But it keeps his ears pretty clean!

Is a really good product to help clean the ears of my dog, and best of all is harmless

I don’t write reviews. But I absolutely had to share the miracle that is this ear wash. We rescued a very sick puppy who had a raging double ear infection since day 1. We saw our vet 4 separate times for this and despite religiously cleaning her ears with their prescription solution and depositing the awful drops in every night, it only seemed to get worse. Not only that, but my sweet once trusting puppy, began to become fearful of me when the ear solution came out and it was traumatic for both of us to have her clean her ears. She began yelping when the solution would touch her ears. Then it progressed to raw, red, horribly broken skin inside her ears. Our vet continued to encourage us to keep using the prescription stuff, but I began to question if IT was what was causing these problems to drag on. And worse, to be so irritating that her ears were raw and painful. I finally put my foot down and took to the internet searching for something else to try. I found this and I am so thankful that I did. The reviews were good so I gave it a try. The first time was still traumatic for my puppy, but she tolerated it and it didn’t seem to be painful like the other stuff. The next day, she actually didn’t mind and I was able to appropriately clean them in a way she hadn’t allowed before with the other stuff that must’ve felt like burning acid to her poor ears. It only took 3 times of thorough cleaning before her ears were finally clean of the backed up gunk that I hadn’t ever been able to flush out prior. Then I gave her a day or two of rest thinking that that might help to soothe and calm them a little. Within a week of resting and “as needed” cleaning (once there were totally clean from that first day), her double ear infection was GONE. This stuff is nothing short of a miracle. I also have to share that there IS a correct way to clean their ears and our vet failed at teaching us this. So here it is, in case you’ve also been doing it wrong:1. You want your dog to be standing up or sitting up with their head upright in a normal position. Not sinking low, not laying down. 2. Lift their ear flap and gently pull upward just a tiny bit. 3. Squirt the solution into their ear. It’ll they are standing up, there is a little “hole” on the bottom of their ear area which leads to the ear canal. Watch this area - the solution should be draining down this hole until the whole ear is full. 4. Then with the ear flap STILL HELD UP, gently use your fingers to start massaging underneath the ear. Almost right behind where their jaw bone is. Massaging this allows the solution to flush around in the ear canal. Do this for 30 seconds to 1 minute, all while VERY gently holding the ear flap up vertically. 5. After massaging for a minute, allow dog to shake their head vigorously. Then gently take a cotton ball or cotton round to wipe away any visible sludge or wax. 6. If this is your first time doing this, REPEAT all steps until no more wax comes out and your cotton ball/cotton round is CLEAN. I wish we would’ve known this before! Hope it helps! I plan to try their other products as well to address her laundry list of other health issues. I firmly believe that my vet was overusing antibiotics and this probiotic solution really helped to establish a healthy balance in her ears. I’m hoping their shampoos will help her coat, which is also problematic.
