Another amazing product from Skil

Skil has really stepped up in the last couple of years. I’ve started buying into their line after an old craftsman drill finally blew up. The price of their drill with entire bit kit was hard to say no to and it’s been solid for over 5 years. Then I needed an impact gun that could handle heavy suspension bolts but not cost over $300. I bought their mid-torque gun for $160 with the new usb-c battery and it’s so good I have now become a massive Skil Stan. This misting fan on sale is so much value for the money. It’s a great addition to our outdoor space in these scorching summers days. We hardly use the misting feature and it keeps us from sweating. The battery is the same usb-c charging as my impact and if purchased by itself is over $70 so this fan is an amazing price if you look at it with the battery cost. I use a 100 watt charger and it charges to full from dead in less than an hour. The fan lasts on high a little over 2 hours (without misting). Haven’t tested the misting time, but on low the misting is intermittent which I really like. On high the misting is constant. It doesn’t change the water output. I believe it holds either a gallon, maybe 2. I’ve only put 6 cold water bottles in it and it got it to 3/4 full. Used it for maybe 15 minutes and it doesn’t look like it’s used any water. Extremely happy with this product. P.S. they will price match Menards which has these at $59.99 right now

I use this for watching my Grand kids ball games. Spend all day in the hot sun at the ball fields and this is a life saver. Love the fact that you can use it with it without the mister. It’s also so easy grab and go. Highly recommend it for hot Texas days.

Love it so far..but buy an extra battery for sure

Runtime: used it on low fan and low mist for almost 4 hours til battery got low and went out. Buy an extra battery to solve that problem.
Misting:
Used low setting only with low fan setting. That worked for our small group watching a baseball game in hot weather. Buy an extra battery. The less than a gallon water intake will run out in about 1.5 hrs, or so so make sure you have access to a hose or have packed more water to refill. This was on low fan and low mist. Just be prepared. Not a big deal, unless you don't have water access.
Stability: Very stable. We only used the kick stand one time.
Charging:
It takes awhile to charge the battery. Buy an extra. I like that you can charge it in at outlet or access in your vehicle, but it takes time so buy an extra battery. No worries then.
Nozzle:
Seems good. I have not cleaned it yet, only used it for 2 days, total 10hours, maybe. Summer is ending so i will follow directions in a few weeks. Seems simple.
Overall.....I love it! Got us through hot baseball games watching in our local area.
