Shell Rotella ELC Antifreeze/Coolant Concentrate is a formula containing extended life coolant concentrate antifreeze and engine coolant. Ideal for use wherever a silicate-free and phosphate-free, heavy-duty coolant is required. The concentrated formula offers proven performance in cooling systems and is used in heavy-duty diesel, gasoline and natural gas engines in both on-road and off-road applications.

- A: Hello, 68% (approx. 2/3) coolant is ideal dilution for maximum freeze protection. Alternatively, you may use the common 60:40 and 50:50 mix ratio of coolant and distilled water. Never use less than 30% coolant in dilution mix as this can result to loss of performance. When 70% or greater coolant dilution is used, freeze protection starts to be lost.
